Oneonta, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Members of Oneonta's local law enforcement teams took to the pavement Wednesday to raise awareness.

Troopers and Oneonta City Police took part in the torch run in order to bring attention to the Special Olympics.

Members of law enforcement have been running to raise awareness all month, with the games starting Friday in Buffalo.

Each leg of the run is just a mile long, but participants hope it has a big impact in raising support for Special Olympics.
