Town of Chenango, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Where did the energy go?
That's what second, third and fourth graders aimed to find at Weis Market on Front Street Wednesday.

The goal of the Weis "Mystery Tour" is to teach children about nutrition during a 90 minute tour.

Students scoured the isles in search of clues.

The tour reinforces guidelines for the department of health and wellness.

Since the program began, over 8,700 students have participated in the program.

"They'll be walking the isles, looking at nutrition labels, looking at the ingredients in foods, and understanding why to make some choices over others," said Michelle Adams, the head of a Girl Scout group.

Those partaking in the tour went home with detective gear, online classroom support materials and healthy snacks.
