Well the tournament is officially in the books, and plans are already being made for next year.
The first is the anticipated Alex alexander memorial caddie tournament.
That had to be called off this year because so many caddies had to get right out on the road to qualify for either the Senior US Open or the next tournament in Montreal.
Next year they plan to hold the caddy tournament mid-week.
But if that's the only hiccup after a week of golf everyone can call this season a success.
Everything from crowd size to the weather to the quality of golf played along to make this year a record setter for the tournament.
" This was the largest Dicks sporting Goods open yet, we had a great concert on Friday night with Maroon 5. Great fans all week long, we had HH&K day yesterday with huge crowds and the final round was terrific, it came down to the wire and John Huston is our great new champion."

Dick's Sporting Goods is signed on as a sponsor through next season and Karedes says they are already at work to extend that arrangement for years to come.
