Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Cat lovers gathered at the "Walk on the Wild Side in the Spring" cat show to get a look at a variety of felines.
The show was organized by the Southern Tier Cat Fanciers and Club Felins Fleur de Lys and takes place at the Broome Community College Ice Rink.
This year's show is a two-day event with 12 rings and more than 100 cats.
Unlike dog shows, this cat show allowed spayed and neutered cats to compete, including household pets.
"People that don't necessarily want to breed or be doing this, it's fun because they can come in and show their household cat, or if they get a pedigree cat, they can come in and show," Ramona Shuba said.
The show continues from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets for the show are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and students, and $3 for children ages 6-12. Children under 5 are free.
Animal food donations are being accepted at the show, and result in $1 off the admission price.
