Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Dez Parry launched a solo home run, Rachel Mouillesseaux pitched another gem, and the Union-Endicott softball team advanced to the Class AA State Semifinals with a 2-0 win over Carmel Wednesday.

The Tigers entered the day not even sure of who they would play, since the regional game between Carmel and Ketchum was suspended due to darkness Tuesday. That game was finished on Wednesday morning as Carmel then traveled to Binghamton to take on U-E.

Union-Endicott now moves onto the state semis to take on East Meadow from Section VIII.

In Class A, Maine-Endwell's magical run ended with a 3-0 loss to Tappan Zee on Wednesday at BAGSAI.
