Tornado Or Straight Line Winds?

Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Pictures of storm damage are always intriguing. The first round of storms Monday night blew through the Twin Tiers just before 10 p.m.

just a few minutes up the hill, you news user Littlebrother snapped pictures, saying it looked like a tornado went through..

The weather uprooted a tree, and left about a 2 mile long path of damage.

Littlebrother says they even heard a sound similar to a freight train, a tell tale sign a tornado could be near.

We took this question to Meteorologist Doug Peters.
