Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Traditions at the Glenn said they've been getting a lot of questions about their proposed casino.

Monday night they invited some of their neighbors up the hill for a presentation to clear up some of the misconceptions about the bid.

"We're going to create 900 construction jobs when this project starts and on an ongoing basis," said Bill Walsh, owner of Traditions at the Glen. "There will be 1,500 permanent jobs that will be created just on site right here.'

Walsh said questions they've been asked are about noise, jobs and traffic.

"Casino business isn't an ebb and flow type traffic," said Walsh. "It's consistent. It's a 24-hour operation. It's a steady flow of traffic in and out but it's not a large pop at any one time."

Walsh said the timeline on when Traditions will send out their bid is still a little fuzzy, but it should be placed by the middle of 2014.
