(WBNG Binghamton) Personal Trainer Briana Hills of Riverwalk Athletic Club talks about how she's getting her client, Bonnie Gow, ready for a mini triathlon.

Bonnie is now halfway through her training and has six and a half weeks until the event.

Over the course of a few weeks, Bonnie has increased her half-mile run time and is now biking five miles at a time.

Bonnie's bike-training consists of hill intervals which is something she will face during the triathlon.

Although Bonnie is doing the distance, Briana will continue to work Bonnie on getting her to run faster.

The triathlon requires Bonnie to run and bike, back-to-back.

WBNG will continue to follow her training progress in the coming weeks.
