Truck Rolls Over Carrying Potatoes

Apalachin, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Tioga County Sheriff's Office responds to a tractor trailer rollover carrying hundreds of pounds of potatoes.

The call came in just after 9 a.m. Friday after a tractor trailer rolled over on Route 17 West in Apalachin.

The Sheriff's Office tells Action News the driver said he may have fallen asleep at the time the truck rolled.

The driver was ticketed for unreasonable speed and unsafe lane change.

No one was injured as a result of the accident.
