(WBNG Binghamton) "Trying," the newest Cider Mill Playhouse show is underway.

IT runs March 14 to April 7, 2013

It's by Joanna McClelland Glass

Winner of the Joseph Jefferson Award, Trying tells the story of the internationally known Francis Biddle, Attorney General under President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Chief Judge of the Nuremberg trials.

Set in 1967 when the cantankerous Biddle is 81, the play offers us a look at the judge's struggle to communicate with his new secretary, Sarah, who is all of 25 years old.

A critically acclaimed drama that Ottawa's CBC Radio called "A fabulous, fabulous play".
