Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The BU men's lacrosse team played in the America East semifinals on Thursday afternoon, but back home they picked up a local commitment.

Maine-Endwell's Kyle Urban signed to play for the Bearcats next year.

As a Spartan he was a four year starter on the lacrosse team, and also won two state championships as a member of the M-E football team.

He said playing at BU is a great opportunity for him.

"When I was making my decision to go and play lacrosse or even go to school, I was really hoping to go to Binghamton," said Urban. "I thought the school was great and I thought it was a great opportunity to support the local school and go there and represent Maine-Endwell/Binghamton."

Urban joins former Spartan teammate Tanner Cosens on the BU roster.

He says he's going in as an undecided major, but hopes to study business once he gets on campus.
