The Binghamton Women's Lacrosse Team has a new leader at the helm. Stephanie Allen takes over the program as the Interim Head Coach this season, and inherits a team that is picked to finish last in the America East.

The team, though, believes having Allen step into the head coaching role will be a positive move. They also think they can surprise some people, despite losing leading-scorer Lis Zuern.

"Obviously we want to be more successful in our win-loss record out on the field, but it's about a certain sense of competitiveness that we want to bring to each and every game and each and every practice," said Allen. "I think that's where it starts this season, in our preparation, and I think it's going to carry through to our games this season."

The Bearcats open up the season at St. Francis this Saturday.
