The field for the Dick's sporting goods open continues to be in flux. Today Scott Hoch had to withdraw due to a wrist injury.
So Roger Chapman takes his spot in the field.

Yesterday 3 golfers played their way into the tournament at the qualifier at the Links at Hiawatha Landing.
One was Bobby Clampett, the former CBS commentator who got back into competitive golf just a year ago.
Making the field marks a return for the player that was a regular at the BC Open, a scheduling certainty for the player that was the name for the Endicott-Johnson golf shoe line for many years.

" It was part of my contract to play the BC Open. I was playing the tour full time so I was exempt but it became a favorite spot of mine. I have a lot of friends up here and I love being a pilot and being able to fly my little airplane into Tri Cities. It's always fun."

Clampett said thinking back to his favorite memories of the BC Open days, he recalled a softball game where he says he nearly knocked out Hale Irwins front teeth.
