Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Professional soccer stars Abby Wambach and Sydney Leroux visited Binghamton to teach kids about following their dreams.
It's part of the third annual Professional Soccer Camp at the Greater Binghamton Sports Complex. Last year, nearly 500 kids came out to train with the pros. Saturday, hundreds more took technique tips from the two women and learned to reach for their goals.
"Just to keep going and never give up," Leroux said. "I feel like if you want something bad enough, you'll do anything to get it and I think that's the most important."
Wambach and Leroux said the message they want kids to take away from camp is simple. That message is, if you dream it, you can achieve it.
"For them, to see first hand that you know what, if you do put your mind and your heart into something, you could possibly make it to the highest level," Wambach said.
Both women played in the Olympics. Last year, Leroux was the youngest player on the U.S. Women's National team.
The camp continues on Sunday.
