New Football Rankings Out

The new state rankings are out for high school football, with some changes for section 4 teams.

Chenango Forks remains the top ranked squad coming in at #2 in class "C" for the second straight week.

Sidney is up to #10 in that same poll, adding intrigue to the week 6 meeting between the schools in Sidney.
Delhi stays at #8 in class "D" and Tioga also stays at #12 in the same poll.
How about Susquehanna Valley cracking the top 20 in class "B".
A year after going 2-7 on the season the Sabers have started this year 3-0.

In class "A" two ranked teams go head to head this week.
Vestal is 3-0 and ranked 24th. On Saturday they visit the 22nd ranked team, fellow unbeaten Maine-Endwell.

Vestal has had extra time to prepare for this game.
They beat Norwich last Thursday, while Maine-Endwell played in elmira on Saturday.
The big division 2 matchup is Saturday at ME high school.
