Generally Clear, Not As Cold Tonight

$storyimg.altText

Skies are crystal clear this evening and they are expected to remain that way through at least midnight tonight. A weak and moisture-starved frontal boundary will be cruising by to our north after midnight...and that may produce one or two clouds across the area during the wee hours of Sunday morning...but the main impact of this frontal system will be a gradual wind shift from the south southwest to the northwest. Those south southwesterly winds will be rather brisk this evening, but winds will settle down once they shift to the northwest overnight. Lows tonight won't be nearly as cold as last night with most spots dropping into the 30s.

Sunday is looking like a fantastic autumn day! We'll see almost entirely sunny skies from start to finish with temperatures rising into the low to mid 60s across much of the region. Monday looks even milder with just about everyone rising into the middle 60s...and the mild weather looks to continue through at least the first half of Tuesday. A sharp cold front will cross the area late Tuesday afternoon, resulting in a noticeable drop in temperature and perhaps a few rain showers. Cooler weather will stick around for Wednesday before another significant warmup arrives late next week.

Enjoy the rest of your  weekend!
