Weekend Improvements!

$storyimg.altText

It appears that there is a bit of a trough that will linger in the vicinity and keep quite a few clouds around through much of today. Highs will reach the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. The best chance for breaks of sunshine will occur during the mid to late afternoon hours. Clouds will break apart Saturday night as high pressure continues to build into the Twin Tiers. By Sunday we should enjoy another unseasonably warm day under mostly sunny skies. Highs should reach the low to possibly mid 50s.

Models continue to differ on the progression of an area of low pressure coming out of the Gulf of Mexico Sunday night into Monday. At this time I’m leaning toward the slower model solutions, thus I’m not expecting any rain until late Monday afternoon into Tuesday. The weather will remain unsettled for much of next week. Temperatures Monday through Wednesday should remain above average, as highs top off around 50 to the low 50s. Right now I’m not anticipating any travel troubles for Wednesday, as only a few showers will be possible.

Thanksgiving Day Outlook: Mostly cloudy with a chance for showers. More seasonable. High 46
Black Friday Outlook: Mostly cloudy with a chance for rain or snow showers. High 42
