Average or near average rainfall for the last three months has been hard to come by. We were 1.47" below average in April, .98" below average in May, and .74" below average in June. The last time we received over an inch of precipitation in a day takes us back to March 19th, when 1.23" fell. Of course in March we had record rainfall across the Twin Tiers. The long range outlook for the next three months (July, August, & September) is for above average rainfall across much of the northeast. Time will tell.
