Well, April has come and gone. We had some record heat and some bone chilling cold. So… was April’s average temperature above or below average? What about the rainfall and snowfall? Let’s take a look.

The average monthly temperature was 47.7 degrees, which is 3.8 degrees above average. This is also one degree away from making the top 5 warmest April’s on record.

The total precipitation for the month measured 1.85 inches, which is 1.51 inches below average. We missed breaking into the top 5 driest April’s on record by .24 inches.

We did get a little snow, but it measured only .8 inches, and that is 3.9 inches below average.
