It’s been a warm April so far. I thought I’d provide some stats up through the 12th of the month. I’ll try to add to this and/or update this as we progress through the month.
- The average daily temperature through 4/12 has been at or above average.
- We tied for the 3rd earliest 80 degree temperatures (82 on 4/7)
Record highs were reached:
- 79 degrees on the 2nd, beating the old record of 77 in 1963
- 79 degrees on the 3rd, tying the old record of 79 in 1963
- 75 degrees on the 5th, tying the old record of 75 in 1985
- 82 degrees on the 8th, breaking the old record of 80 in 1991
Warmest minimum temperatures:
- 56 degrees on the 7th, breaking the old record of 55 in 1991
The average monthly temperature through the 12th is 56.4 degrees, a whopping 15.9 degrees above average
Nine out of twelve days saw high temperatures of 60 or better!
