The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico hits close to home for me, as I lived there for 4 years. A check on the forecast shows that the potential impact is great. The wind forecast is not good at all.. 20-25 knot winds from the south/southeast (20-30mph) expected through the weekend... that will kick up the seas and the booms that are out there to keep the oil contained will likely be over topped.
