Severe Weather Awareness Week... Part 1

Severe weather awareness week is this week May 2nd through May 5th. I’ll post some info throughout the week that you can store in the back of your mind in the event we do have severe storms.

First a couple facts regarding severe weather in New York...

-There have been 100 deaths and ¾ billion dollars in damage over the last 20 years.

-The National Weather Service issues an average…
400 Severe T-Storm Warnings
17 Tornado Warnings
150 Flash Flood Warnings.
