The topic... Flooding.

There are two types of flooding: River Flooding, and Flash Flooding.

River Flooding generally occurs more slowly, and occurs after a prolonged period of moderate to heavy rainfall. Warning time can be several hours to even a day or so.

Flash Flooding occurs very quickly. This type of flooding is usually the deadliest, and are the most difficult to forecast. As a result warning time can be very short.

What to do and not do during flooding...

Evacuate or move to higher ground if you are under a flood or flash flood warning.

Never drive across a flooded roadway. Turn Around, Don't Drown!

Use extra caution when driving at night, as flooded roadways are harder to see.
