Garden Started...

I did find the time on my day off Friday to get my garden started. I got the peas, and swiss chard in, and my garlic seems to be doing well.

Next up... corn, squash, beans, cucumbers, and tomatoes.

When to plant is the next question. There is some good news here. I'm pretty confident that through Sunday we will not see any frost in the area. Then next week a large ridge of high pressure is expected to build. This will bring drier than average and warmer than average conditions to our area. This is not to say we can't have a frost, but the chances are greatly reduced.

Based on this information I'm going to try to lengthen my growing season, and get my entire garden going here this week.
