Our first widespread killing frost is expected to hit Sunday Morning (10/10). At this time most areas should fall into the mid 30s, while the more sheltered valley locations could end up in the upper 20s. There is a chance that more areas could be seeing a freeze, but there is some disagreement among the computer models as to how cold it will get. As a result of all this, a Freeze Watch has been issued for the Twin Tiers. A frost at this time of the year is not uncommon. Check out the graphic above for the average dates for frost.
