These photos of the International Space Station were taken from the WBNG studio parking lot as it flew over the Twin Tiers on Tuesday evening August 7, 2012.

The white streak in the pictures is the International Space Station as it orbits the earth at nearly 4.7 miles per SECOND! I grabbed my camera and headed outside to snap a few 30 second exposures.

The white light is sunlight reflecting off the solar panels that are used to power the vehicle.
