On Friday, July 23rd we had tornado warnings for southeastern Susquehanna and Wayne Counties. Tornadoes did touch down near Hawley, Honesdale, and Pleasant Mount. One tornado was 400 yards wide and tracked 15 miles! The only other tornado in recent history that I could find that tracked 15 miles or more was the Tioga/Broome/Delaware tornado which occurred May 31, 1998. That tornado tracked 60miles, skipping along the way.
