The sun is climbing out of the solar minimum, and it seems to be doing it with a little style tonight! A CME or Coronal Mass Ejection on the sun is headed our direction. It is expected to create a geomagnetic storm. Is this serious? No, not this go around as it was measured as C3. If it were a Class M or X, then we could have trouble with communications around the globe. What it may do is allow those further south to see the Aurora. Look to the north and you may get lucky over the next couple of days. Check out this story from NASA.
