A Confederate wedding took place on Saturday August 14,2010, at the Pierce Creek Civil War Weekend in Binghamton. Dan and Audrey O’Brien of the 1st Virginia Light Artillery, Battery A, Richmond Howitzers, Army of Northern Virginia, renewed their wedding vows after 31 years of marriage. Union Pastor Rene Kinard, of Gettysburg, performed the ceremony which was attended by both Union and Confederate honor guards.

Sorry! No one from the Union was interested in renewing their vows this year. Maybe it was because there was only one Union couple there and that was the Pastor and his wife. The bulk of the Confederate reenactors are from the Binghamton area. DHS?

Most people don't read their Bibles, exercise daily, go to church regularly, or be 100% accurate on their tax returns or resumes, either. I hate the sheeple mentality.

I pass by that area all the time. It's a beautiful area, just got to watch out for animals crossing the road. I don't think it was a wise decision to do a Confederate Wedding, most people in this area hate Confederates. I bet you made the DHS List
