Invitation to September 23rd Launch Celebration -

Binghamton Native Celebrates Book Launch

Ronald G. Capalaces and friends are inviting the community to come celebrate the nationwide release of his new book, “When All the Men Were Gone: World War II and the Home Front; One Boy’s Journey Through the War Years.” The event, featuring 1940's music and dance, food, refreshments, and other entertainment, will take place on Thursday, September 23rd from 5-8pm at the Binghamton Boys and Girls Club at 90 Clinton Street.

Books will be available for purchase and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the B&G Club. As a gift to the author’s fellow high school classmates, graduates of Binghamton’s Class of 1953 will receive free signed copies of the book.

Capalaces' memoir will be available in mid-September through merchants including Barnes & Noble, Wegmans Markets, and RiverRead Books.
