Members of Owego & Campville Fire Departments organized a Boot Drive that collected $5,200.00. The donations will benefit the family of Steve Gunther who passed away from injuries sustained in an unfortunate farming accident last month.

Sorry for leaving out any Departments that had a hand in this extraordinary gester of human kindness. I applaud everyone for making this happen for Steve's family. I am sure Steve is smiling down on us with pleasure.

Its was a joint effort from Owego, Weltonville, Apalachin, and Campville Fire Department. Thank you to all the volunteers and also to all those who donated money to the cause.
