Life Chain

Dozens of people turned out for a "Life Chain" on October 7 at the corner of Harry L Drive and Reynolds Road in Johnson City. This was part of a nationwide observance of "Respect Life Sunday", which seeks to increase awareness of the devastating effects of abortion. Protesters stood in silent prayer for one hour, holding signs that say "Abortion kills children", "Abortion hurts women", "Pray to end abortion", and "Lord, forgive us and our nation".
