Went over to my usual walking place this Fri. only to have any idea of a riverbank walk squelched by the high water. As I had expected the river was up, flooding the usual areas where I walk the bank. One place under the highway bridge was probably under 5'-6' of water. Egrets were flying in distress to lose their fishing area, even Cormorants were in close to the shoreline.
