His name is Dezel. He is a neutered male fawn colored Dane with un-cropped ears and a black Merle head. He was dumped on sate land in Ulster County by my husband. My dog was seen by a passerby who spotted Dezel running along the thruway by exit 21 in Catskill and she called Ulster humane Society who passed the info to Columbia Green Humane Society who said that animal control was notified and dispatched. The animal control officer did not move from behind his desk to look for the dog as he said that his location was not EXACTLY pinpointed. OMG! My husband took the dog while I was in NC and dumped my dog because he did not like him! Through talking to my son, we both came to the conclusion that my husband dumped the dog in Ulster County where he has a hunting camp. Not up the road in Bovina which is Delaware county as he claimed to the police. There is acres of state land and he knew that I would never find the dog there had I not realized that he, in fact, dumped Dezel there. I have been on the phone non stop calling animal control and the police. where I believe Dezel was dumped. I have left NO STONE unturned to find him and I will find him. I sit here helpless knowing my dog is exposed to the elements and wondering why this has happened to him.Dezel was only dislike by my husband and Dezel did not trust him. If you can help me find him please do. I am desparete to find him and each day that goes by and he is not been found, my heart breaks a little more thinking he is out there. I have alot of good people helping me look for him. The nice ranger who covers that area said he will put the dog right in his car and drive him home to me if he finds him first. I think my husband was thinking that the dog would wander and find a new home and I would never find him again. He was almost right
I have now exhausted all resources to find Dezel. Since he was spotted by exit 21 of the NYS thruway, we are concentrating our efforts there
