Veterans Day Memorial

The town of Clifton Park unveiled a new memorial for Veterans Day in memory of those who have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. The project was spearheaded by former Oneonta Mayoral Candidate Jason Corrigan of Clifton Park, who worked with Clifton Park town supervisor Phil Barrett and The American Legion Post 1450 in establishing the memorial.

The event drew over 300 people with Congressman Chris Gibson and State Senator Roy McDonald speaking at the ceremony.

Great to see Jason doing well and keeping his commitment to the community and I am sure the memorial was great with Congressman Gibson there.

Gibson is the man! The three of them could go into Congress with a baseball bat and clean things up!
