Each year for the last several years Owego has hosted the "Lights on the River" Festival. This event attracts many to downtown Owego for one of the first Christmas events of the season. The Court street Bridge and many stores will be ablaze with festive lights. The stores stay open offering many fine holiday gifts and fine food. These photos are from a previous years festival. The festival starts at 5:30 pm and includes a Fireworks display at Draper Park.

pretty pics of owego's lights...so nice that they do this...wish it wasnt such a long drive from greene (especially at night when its snowing)
