The needy in the Binghamton area were given a hand with some items. The Annual Toys for Tots train arrived at the Canadian Pacific's east Binghamton yards with Santa Claus and A new Sponcer.
Duncan Donuts stepped in to keep the hope alive, as the Marine Corp and Naval Reserves were in need of a transfusion of Money. With Duncan Donuts infusion of 25 Thousand dollar, not only did the needy in the area recieve a toy, but gloves, hats and coats were handed out as well.
With the hard times growing this time of the year, hats off to the volunteers that keep the community in mind. These unsung heroes are the Marine and Naval reserves, The Canadian Pacific Railroad for the use of the power, the crews that operated the trains, who volunteer their time to operate the train and those from the railroad that dress up as Santa and Mrs. Claus as well as the elves.
As one trainman said... It makes us feel good this time of the year.
Holiday Spirit alive and well
