I literally ran out of the house to capture these sunset shots. I haven't been down to this place since summer, and it is an entirely different world now. I love how the ice formed a cracked apron around the base of the tree in the first shot. I couldn't help but notice that the tree in my last shot, must have been on that river bank for a long time considering all the pruning it's apparently seen over the years.
