Worm? trails

Trails in the Snow

Taking a walk along the Riverbank after the snow, I spotted this selection of trails in the snow.
#1 Appears to be Worm trails in the snow, Nothing underneath, I looked. What are they?
#2 Wabbit Twacks, self explanatory.
#3 I also saw what has to be muskrat trails in the snow leaving and returning to the river.

It could have been a snake, though I believe this time of year they are dormant. 2nd possibility is, that it's a shrew. Shrews are wonderful animals, they chase and eat mice sometimes. Shrews spend most of their time down near creeks.
