Swashbuckled: the power of Irish dance

The Carle School of Irish Dance presents Swashbuckled: A tale of pirates, peasants and the power of Irish dance on Sunday, January 30 at 2 p.m. in the Anderson Center Osterhout Theater on the Binghamton University campus.

This show will bring 120 young dancers together for an exuberant performance of Irish dance, set in the year 811 when pirates pillaged the villages along the shores of Ireland. It will be an afternoon of humor, fun and adventure along with the precision dancing of these local students of the Endicott-based dance school.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students at the door. Pre-sale tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for students and are available by calling Carle Irish Dance at 621-6163. Children under 5 are free but do need a ticket.
