Gilmore Nursing Home Flooding

The Gilmore Nursing home in Norwich was evacuated today when the 3rd floor filled with water. City of Norwich Fire Crews along with Ambulances from Norwich, Sherburne, and Oxford Responded. Patients on the 3rd floor were permanant residents and were send to Chenango Memorial Hospital and the Vets Home in Oxford for temporary housing. The New York State Gas and Electric also responded. Crews remained on Scene for several hours.
