I was on my way on a road trip that is approximatley 45 min. and spotted the eagle in a tree across the river, and thought darn I wish I had brought my camera. On the way back much to my surprise it was still perched in the same tree, so rushed home to attempt to get a photo as luck would have it I managed to capture 2 photo's of this magnificant bird. I am very excited as I have seen eagles in the area many times and had the honor of taking his photo. I have been trying to photogragh these amazing predators for a long time.

I was thrilled to finally get a picture of one of these magnificant birds of prey. Where I live there are quite a few especially @ the resevour which is where they nest.

lucky day, but you really worked for the shot didn't you!? I've still never seen one this close, outside of a zoo. Someday?
