Squirrels appreciate some extra food in the winter. Here in Waverly, New York we set the table for them. They love corn and sunflower seeds, and they eat until everything is gone. They also enjoy apples. Squirrel's stomachs may not be a bottomless pit, but you wouldn't know that by looking at our squirrels at the end of the season. They are about the plumpest squirrels you've ever seen. They're so much fun to watch. How could you resist feeding them!
