My brother Shawn joined the Army a couple of years ago. He went to bootcamp shortly after signing up. During this time he started talking to a friend Megan he knew from where he used to live in Oregon. Awhile later they were engaged. They got married in October 2009. Just a few months before the wedding, they found out that he would be going to Iraq for one year. They were married for about 5 months before he left. Just before he left, his wife lost a baby. During his deployment, his wife found them a house. After moving into their new place, just months after someone broke in and stole some of their things. During all this time they have been by each others side and supported each other to the fullest. Today my brother is coming home from a year long deployment. We are so proud of him.
