Two Men Stabbed

I am the uncle of the two men stabbed in Binghamton on Nov. 25,2007 ,Jonathon Crea and Lindy Crea. And I feel the man responsable should be charged with two counts of attempted murder not assult. My nephews were very badley wounded and Lindy was 16 sec. from death. In my eyes that is attempted murder. The person doning the stabbing was attemping to kill my nephews not assult them.I don't feel the charges that the police dept. gave him were fair,it's a lower charge and he will most likley be able to get away with it and be able to go on with his life. While my nephews are scared for life!

i feel that the choices that were made that night were not smart, but every thing happens for a reason...what caused the incident. theres alwaays two sides to a story. was it worth it...why did it really happen?

Well, they were all fighting......what injuries did Newland sustain? Notice how the news articles do not explain who started the fight or what the fight was over!! They should all be arrested they were ALL part of the fighting!

You have got to be kidding me!! Attempted Murder should be the charge! If a person is stabbed more than once, why isn't that considered attempted murder? After the 1st stab you are not trying to just injury someone, you are trying to take their life!

I agree with my husband there are to many people getting away with crimes. I read so many other storys online about people stabbing people and they get higher charges then this guy.For example, the stabbing in Johnson City.
