Two wild Tundra or Whistling Swans at Braggs Pond Brook, Greene NY, Wednesday 4/6/11 around 6PM (it is was cold and rainy). First time seeing these swans in this area. They winter mainly in the Chesapeake and migrate North through the Great Lakes to the Artic. The Tundra Swan stays in flocks except when on a breeding territory. Maybe they're breeding here or they are young birds.
