Although this woodpecker doesn't have a red belly, it is nonetheless called a Red-Bellied Woodpecker! The male has red on both his crown and nape as pictured. The Red-Bellied Woodpecker is approximately 9 to 10 1/2 inches in size. We enjoyed his visit!
