Soaring High in the Sky

Adult Turkey Vultures have a small, red, featherless head and a wing span of approximately 6 feet. Although nearly eagle sized, you can identify them at a great distance because they soar with their wings in a shallow V-shape unlike eagles that soar with their wings flat.
