My mother is an amazing woman. She is always there for everyone, whenever they need her and with whatever they may need. I was very sick as a child, my mother was so selfless in her efforts to keep me as healthy as she possibly could. As an adult I have undergone four hip replacements, along with several other surgeries due to the effects of my illness, and my mother has been there for me every single step of the way. She is a great physical therapy coach. Her husband passed away April 22, 2001, after suffering terribly with cancer. My mother stood by his side, helping him through each and every moment of his pain. There were times when she went days without sleeping, just holding him and consoling him. He passed away at home and she was right by his side. I call her our families angel of mercy. She is a member of the Binghamton Moose, she has held positions from Sr. Reagent to Recorder, she was nominated for co-worker of the year in 2009. Again, just as with her family...she is always there for whoever needs her. She has headed up many fund raisers through the Binghamton Moose for those less fortunate, she founded the Jim Curtin Memorial - Umpires Golf Tournament, and runs a Friday night golf league at Dimmock Hill, to name just a few of her endeavors. So many are thankful for having her in their lives. I love you with all of my heart, Mom!!
My wonderful mother, Lorraine
