While taking my riverbank walk after work tonite. I spotted a rarity for this area. 3 Female Bufflehead ducks. they stuck together and dove to forage for food alternately. As these are diving ducks they stayed out in the main channel of the river and I didn't get a real good close shot of them as they paddled about in search of food.
