I want to nominate my Mom, Barbara Barton, because I think she is the most loving and courageous person that I know.
She has shown great courage while fighting major health battles and surgeries throughout her life. She has battled and won her fight with a muscular disease, breast cancer, open heart surgeries and much, much more. Through these obstacles she has shown much grace and courage. At times she wanted to give up, but found the courage to move forward. Even though she had her own battles to deal with, she was always there when anyone needed her. She is the backbone of our family unit.
Not only has she taught me all the little things in life, but she has also taught me about life itself. I love you Mom! Happy Mother's Day! Love Theresa
